    General Project Review Requirements

SHEDS: Be sure to Include the size of your shed, including the overall height of the shed—wall height is not the overall height. The Committee will need to know the height of the shed from the ground level to the highest point of the roof. Also Include a site map of where on your property you wish to place the shed including measurements of setbacks. It is highly recommended that you contact the City for any set-back requirements or necessary permits before submitting your ARC shed request. Please keep in mind when making your shed selection that the CC&R’s will require that the shed is constructed of materials that are like your home in both siding and roofing shingles. Once completed, the shed will need to be painted to match your home. It’s important to note that Resin/plastic or metal sheds are rarely approved.

EXTERIOR PAINTING: Submitting paint samples varies depending on your HOA requirements. You are encouraged to mail in 3 sets of each paint color chip from your local paint store. This is the surest way to get your paint project to the committee volunteers for their review. When submitting the paint sample information, please use the following format to help speed the approval process. Brand Name of paint is required- Body color # “NAME OF COLOR”; Accent Color # “NAME OF COLOR”; Trim Color # “NAME OF COLOR”.

FENCING: When requesting a fence, you will need to provide a site map or simple drawing showing the proposed fence line. You will also need to confirm the type of Fence material and the height of fence you wish to install. Example: 6′ tan vinyl or 6′ dog-eared cedar slat. Please note the locations of where the gates will be installed.

EXTENDED DRIVEWAYS AND CONCRETS PROJECTS: Site maps or simple drawings with measurements are required and photos of the project are encouraged. If you are using a contractor for this type of project, they can often provide this information for you.

PERGOLAS, PATIO COVERS AND SIMILAR PROJECTS: You will need to provide details on size, materials, colors, etc. Site maps or simple drawings with measurements are required and photos of the project are encouraged.
